GIORDANO Holistic Wellness Center (GHWC) is a unique combination of what naturopathic has to offer ~ and then some.  GHWC grew out of Dr. Paul J. Giordano’s desire to help people truly be well.  Dr. Giordano is a doctor of naturopathic medicine with extensive natural medicine training specializing in Difficult Cases.  He has a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine, a Bachelor of Science in Natural Health Sciences, a Bachelor of Music in Applied Clarinet, is a Certified Clinical Nutritionist with Multiple Clinical Certifications, is a Board Certified Addictions and Compulsive Disorders Professional with the American College of Addictionology and Compulsive Disorders (ACACD), is Certified in Auriculotherapy from the ACACD, is Certified in Physical Medicine/Sports Medicine/Rehabilitation for Primary Care, is a Certified Professional Applied Kinesiologist with the International College of Applied Kinesiology (ICAK), is formerly an injury prevention consultant with BackSafe of Future Industrial Technologies (FIT), is a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) in Massachusetts, is a Certified Heart Sound Recording Practitioner, is a DAN-certified Naturopathic Doctor, and holds numerous other certifications (with two doctorates, seven degrees, well over 3000 hours in postgraduate education and 30+ years of experience).

            Dr. Giordano is uniquely trained, credentialed and qualified, unlike most practitioners, to provide patients with a comprehensive, multifactorial and customized cutting-edge array of natural and functional medicine differential diagnoses, services, treatments, and care.  As a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Giordano assesses the whole patient as a person in a particular state of wellness or dis-ease, and not just their disease process, their bone-out-of-place, or their laboratory values ~ and the patient immediately realizes this from their initial introduction into the office when the case is taken and the bonding process occurs.  He utilizes what he calls the Triangle that Determines the Wellness  Status in all of us.  The three sides of that triangle are:  1) Structural side, 2) Chemical, Nutrient, Drug side, and the 3) Mental, Emotional, Spiritual side.  When any of the sides of this triangle are in dysfunction, it affects and may overpower the other sides of the triangle.  This is assisted via Dr. Giordano's training and background as a certified member of the International College of Applied Kinesiology (ICAK), a professional applied kinesiology (functional neurology).  He also achieves customization of diagnosis and care via a thorough history, neurologic and laboratory testing prn, as well as Gene SNP testing (single nucleotide polymorphism with mucosal buccal swabbing and a questionnaire) coupled with genetically customized nutrients to help correct genetic variants affecting bone, insulin, heart, inflammation, oxidation, and detoxification.
