Tonia Rainier, NMD is an Arizona board-certified Naturopathic Physician. She received her doctorate from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe AZ. She has completed the Institute for Functional Medicine Applying for Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (IFM-AFMCP), the hormone advanced practice module (APM). This specialization in functional medicine along with a Naturopathic Medicine base gives her a unique perspective when treating patients. These two areas combine to form a powerful method of root cause medicine combined with a strong knowledge of herbal medicine along with precision nutrition.
She also has a Master’s degree in Exercise Science and an undergrad in Wellness Promotion. She is an ACSM-certified Exercise Physiologist with over 20 years of experience as a business owner and coaching fitness plans, personalized nutrition, and lifestyle changes with clients. This health and wellness experience gives her the advantage over many practitioners when designing precision wellness lifestyle changes for her patients.
She has been married 30 plus years and raised 3 children in TN. She moved to Scottsdale 7 years ago and enjoys daily hikes, mountain biking, pickleball or volleyball “peppering” with her daughter.
