What are natural doctors qualified to do? Are natural doctors different than medical doctors? Do natural doctors have training outside of regular checkups?
Natural doctors are qualified to provide primary and/or specialty care using both modern and traditional medicine. Their college degree and Washington state license qualify natural doctors to prescribe some pharmaceutical drugs and perform minor surgeries, but their main focus will first and foremost be to promote healing through nature and more natural remedies and treatments.
Natural doctors are different than medical doctors in that they work to find natural remedies and treatments for healing before using more conventional treatments and methods. While conventional methods are not necessarily bad, some can be harder on your body and system than a more natural treatment. By first utilizing the healing power of nature, natural doctors can focus more on complete healing and the root cause of the problem as opposed to just treating the symptoms.
Natural doctors are trained in many areas besides regularly scheduled checkups and exams. From asthma to neurology to thyroid conditions, natural doctors have a wide range of medical training with specific focus areas. They can also provide services, such as acupuncture, cosmetic procedures, injection therapies, biofeedback, and more.
